Natalie Healy is a registered Dietitian with many years of NHS and private experience. After reading Dietetics at Kings College London in 2005 Natalie was quick to obtain her first professional position as a junior Dietitian in Hemel Hempstead General Hospital where she was responsible for a number of busy wards in the fields of cardiology, elderly care and medicine. At that time she also held cardiac rehabilitation courses and a varied outpatient clinic advising on weight reduction, healthy eating, nutrition in sports, diabetes, preconception and bowel disease.
Natalie remained at Hemel Hempstead Hospital for some time and progressed to other areas of care including advanced diabetes, surgery and intensive care. Currently Natalie works as a Dietitian in Watford General Hospital where she has recently been appointed as a Senior Specialist.
To enhance her NHS career Natalie has provided dietary counselling at high profile public events such as the Birmingham Clothes Show Live, The Health Show at Olympia and on The Sports Road show through Hertfordshire. Natalie has maintained a personal interest in sports Dietetics over the years and regularly advises athletes and other members of the local gym. Her most recent endeavour has been to join the Bounceback team to offer one to one dietary advice for clients partaking in sport who have nutritional questions or concerns. Natalie is British Dietetic Association and Health Professions Council registered, which ensures she meets a high standard of training, professional skills, behaviour and health.
